The Writ Petition is filed by husband challenging interim maintenance of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand Only). According to the petitioner, the wife is already getting maintenance under the provision of Domestic Violence Act, 2005 to the tune of Rs.15,000/- per month (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) and by the impugned order additionally Rs.15,000/- per month (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) is directed to be paid. 2.

Undisputedly, the salary of the petitioner is Rs.87,000/- (Eighty Seven Thousand Only). Therefore, in my opinion the learned Civil Judge, Senior Division, Panvel was justified in directing the petitioner to pay interim maintenance of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) in addition to interim maintenance of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only). There is no miscarriage of justice.

Therefore, Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
