The petitioner's grievance is that inspite of complaint filed on 18/11/2015, the police has not registered an offence punishable under Section 420 of the IPC. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has made out a cognizable case for registration of FIR.
We have perused the record placed before us. In the facts of the case, we are of the view that
2/2 25-wp-4990-15 the petitioner may resort to alternate statutory remedy as prescribed under the Code of Criminal Procedure.
Keeping all issues open, petition is disposed of.
In view of the above order, Criminal Application No. 133 of 2016 does not survive and disposed as such.
