This is an application for extension of time to deposit the balance amount of Rs.14 lacs. In view of the undertaking given by the applicant dated 5.10.2015 in Bail Application No.508 of 2015, the period to deposit second installment of Rs.14 lacs comes to an end on 7.1.2016. Mr. Karnik, the learned Counsel for the applicant submits that as the applicant was suffering from an ailment, he could not collect the second installment of Rs.14 lacs. He on instructions submits that as of today sum of Rs.3,50,000/- has been collected by the applicant and the balance amount will be collected and deposited in the Registry of the Special Court within a period of two weeks from today.

Dond 2/2 appp.1066-2015.sxw For the reasons stated in the application, and in the interest of justice, I am inclined to allow the present application. Time to deposit the balance amount of Rs.14 lacs is hereby extended by two weeks from 7.1.2016. It is made clear that no further extension for whatever reason will be granted hereafter.

The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. All concerned to act upon an authenticated copy of this order.
