It is informed that a civil litigation in respect of entitlement of the parties in relation to the suit property is pending before the Civil Court. The Petitioner in the instant Petition is objecting to the revenue entries recorded by the revenue authorities in exercise of powers under Land Revenue Court. It is well settled principle that the revenue entries are recorded for fiscal purposes and those entries in themselves do not form the evidence of title of a person in relation to the property and the issue of title has to be dealt with by the competent Civil Court in pending Waghmare 1/2

8.WP.13510.18.doc civil suit which is stated to have been presented by the Petitioner. In these circumstances, it would be open for the Petitioner to claim necessary relief from the Civil Court in the pending suit. The revenue entries which are already recorded can be corrected depending upon the outcome of the civil litigation.

In view of above, no interference is called for in the instant Petition. The Petition is devoid of substance, hence stands rejected. (V.L. ACHLIYA, J.) (R.M. BORDE, J.) Waghmare 2/2
