1) In view of the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of M. Subramaniam & Anr. Vs. S. Janki & Anr. reported in (2020) 16 SCC 728, the present petition for direction of lodgment of crime is not maintainable.

2) Learned counsel for the Petitioner, therefore, seeks leave to withdraw petition with liberty to file a private complaint, if permissible under the law including the law of limitation. Leave and liberty granted.
