By an order dated 12th December, 2019, interim protection was granted to the applicant in C.R. No.315 of 2019 registered with Rajgad Police Station under sections 304, 354, 324, 504 and 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard Mr. Kadam, learned Counsel for the applicant and Mr. Dedhia, learned A.P.P, for respondent-State.

Mr. Dedhia, learned A.P.P submits that the applicant has been attending the concerned Police Station as directed by this Court by an order dated 12th December, 2019. On 30th October, 2021, Mr. Palkar, the learned A.P.P who was then present made a statement, on instructions, from one Mr. Jadhav Police Naik, Rajgadh Police Station that the charge-sheet will be filed within one week. Again, as usual, the statement is not adhered to and no charge-sheet has been filed till date.

Mr. Dedhia, learned A.P.P also makes a statement, on instructions, that custodial interrogation of the applicant is not required.

For all these reasons, ad-interim relief is confirmed. However, the applicant shall continue to co-operate with the Investigating Officer as and when called.

Application stands disposed of.

In view of disposal of the application, interim application, stands disposed of.
