Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the Applicants, the learned Counsel appearing for Union of India and the learned AGP for the second and third Respondents.

The application for amendment is based on subsequent events which have allegedly occurred during the pendency of the petition. Hence, the amendment deserves to be allowed. Accordingly, application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Applicant shall carry out amendment to the Sneha Chavan 1/2

14 caw 145-17=.doc main petition within a period of two weeks from the date on which the order is uploaded.

Needless to add that it will be open for the Respondents to file additional affidavit-in-reply to the Writ Petition dealing with the amended portion of the Writ Petition. Additional affidavits to be filed within eight weeks from today.
