DATED :
22nd December, 2016.
P.C.
The Applicant is seeking transit anticipatory bail in Crime No.162 of 2016 registered with Chitradurga Kote Police Station in the state of Karnatak for the offence punishable under Section 395 of IPC. Prima-facie, what could be gathered is, the Applicant has extended his consultancy to the Complainant. However, there are no specific allegations in the FIR that the Applicant has taken amount from the Complainant to the tune of Rs.12.50 Lakhs. In view thereof, in my opinion, the Applicant is entitled for transitory anticipatory bail for a period of three weeks. In the event of arrest, the Applicant shall be released on executing PR in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount. Protection is granted to the Applicant till 12.1.2017.
