Heard learned counsel appearing for the applicant in Civil Application No.265 of 2017.

For the reasons stated in the Civil Application the delay in filing the civil application seeking restoration of Writ Petition No.2278 of 2014 is condoned. We have perused the averments made in the Civil Application explaining the cause of nonappearance of the counsel when the case was called.

In the circumstances, we allow the civil application and order restoration of writ petition no.2278 of 2014 on its original number.
