By this petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has impugned the order dated 15th October 2015 passed by the Presiding Officer, School Tribunal, Pune rejecting the application filed by the petitioner for condonation of delay of 20 years and 4 months in filing the appeal before the School Tribunal. 2.

I have perused the application filed by the petitioner seeking condonation of delay of 20 years and 4 months and also the impugned order passed by the Presiding Officer, School Tribunal, Pune. Application for condonation of delay was vehemently opposed by the respondents by filing an affidavit-in-reply.

A perusal of the application for condonation of delay does not indicate that the petitioner has sufficiently explained the gross delay of 20 years and 4 months in filing the appeal before the School Tribunal. The School Tribunal has rendered reasons for not condoning the delay. Writ petition is devoid of merits and is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
