By this petition under Article 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India the Petitioner challenges the order dated 28.09.2011 passed by the learned Presiding Officer, Labour Court, DNH, Silvassa in Reference (IDA) No.7/2010. The present petition is filed in this court on 22.12.2016. The reasons for delay and laches are given by the petitioner in paragraph No.11, which read thus:

The petitioners state that due to mismatching and their family, personal and medical problem delay cause for filing this Writ Petition."

Bare reading of paragraph 11 does not justify the delay and laches on the part of the petitioner to approach this court after more than 5 years.

Hence, the Writ Petition stands dismissed on this ground only.
