After arguing the Bail Application for some time, when this Court was not inclined to grant bail to the Applicant, Mr. Ugle, learned counsel appearing for the Applicant seeks leave to withdraw the Bail Application. However, he requests that as the Applicant is in jail since 11.06.2018, the trial be expedited. 2.

The Applicant has been arrested in connection with C. R. No. 175 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 376(2)(f)(i)(j)(n) & 195 of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3(a), 4, 5(1)(n) 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. The Applicant is in jail since 11.06.2018.

The trial has already commenced and some of the witnesses have already been examined. The learned trial Judge is requested to conclude the trial within a period of eight months from the date of this order. The Applicant is at liberty to fle a fresh Bail Application, if the trial does not conclude within a period of eight months from the date of this order. 4.

In view of the above submission, the Bail Application is allowed to be withdrawn and disposed of as such subject to above.
