Constituted Attorney of Petitioner No. 1 is present with his advocate. Respondent No. 2 is present with her advocate. Both jointly request for quashing of FIR, which is essentially under Section 498A of Indian Penal Code.

Marriage Petition A-905/2018 filed by respondent No. 2 has been converted into proceedings for grant of decree by mutual consent by Family Court. There, petitioner No.1-husband has SQ Pathan THIS ORDER IS CORRECTED AS PER SPEAKING TO MINUTES ORDER DATED 20/03/2019 1/2

wp.5638.18.speaking.doc deposited amount of Rs. 27 lakhs which is to be withdrawn by respondent No. 2.

Respondent No. 2 has today in Court given her no objection and has also tendered affidavit. Accordingly, affidavit is taken on record.

In this situation, we make rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (A).
