Heard learned counsel appearing for the Appellant and learned APP appearing for State. The Division Bench (Coram :- B.R.Gavai & Sarang V. Kotwal, JJ.) by order dated 17 July 2018, taking into consideration the inordinate delay in lodging the FIR, granted interim protection to the Appellant. The Investigating Officer was directed to release the Appellant on bail in the event of his arrest in connection with C.R No.198 of 2017 on furnishing P.R Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

Learned APP appearing for State on instructions of the officer who is present in the Court informed this Court that the order passed by the Division Bench on 17 July 2018 has been acted upon. The Appellant has extended full cooperation to the Investigating Officer during the course of investigation. The investigation is complete. Therefore, keeping in view the aforesaid developments and also the age of the Appellant, the order dated 17 July 2018 passed by this Court stands confirmed. Appeal stands disposed of accordingly.
