1. The challenge in this writ petition is to the impugned orders dated th December, 2016 passed by the Employees Provident Fund Appellate Tribunal in appeal no.1006(9) of 2016. The impugned order directs deposit of 40% of the assessed amount. Pending the admission of this petition, it is stated that the appeal itself has been heard, arguments have been concluded and orders now remain to be passed.

2. In view of the above, the writ petition is infructuous. The same is disposed in the above terms.

3. Meanwhile, protection granted by this Court will continue for eight weeks from today.
