There was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner on 8th January 2024; hence, the matter was kept today. Today also, none appears on behalf of the petitioner.

With the assistance of learned AGP, we have perused the documents filed, with the writ petition. The petitioner has aggrieved by an order of transfer dated 25th October 2017 by which he was transferred from the post of Assistant Commissioner, Sales Tax, Mazgaon to the Legal Branch, Sales Tax, Mazgaon. The Original Application preferred by the petitioner came to be dismissed on 22nd July 2019.

Considering the passage of time from issuance of the transfer order, it appears that the petitioner is not desirous of prosecuting the writ petition.
