Petitioner has assailed the order dated 5/4/2013 passed under section 17 of the Arms Act, 1959 suspending his licence in relation to a revolver.

The order of suspension is on account of pending crime No. 98 of 2012 under sections 454, 457, 380, 34, 120B, 465, 466, 471 and 472 IPC.

This court has after 26/10/2013 i.e. date of filing of the petition, till date not passed any order in the matter. 4.

According to learned APP the trial might have been over by now.

Counsel for the petitioner is seeking time to find out what has happened to further investigation in the said offence or the trial.

Arms licence has remained suspended for about six years. In this situation, we grant the petitioner leave to approach again in appropriate proceedings if cause of action subsists.
