Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks liberty to withdraw this petition and to file appropriate proceedings under section 35-A of the Maharashtra Slum Area (Improvement, Clearance and Redevelopment) Act, 1971 within four weeks from today. The statement is accepted as and by way of an undertaking to this Court. 2.

For the period of six weeks from today, the respondents shall not take any coercive steps against the petitioner for implementing the impugned orders which are subject matter of this writ petition. It is made clear that if the proceedings are not filed within four weeks from today, the ad-interim protection granted by this Court shall stand vacated without further reference to the Court. 1/2
