When the petition was called out in the morning session, none had appeared and, therefore, we had kept back the matter. Even when called out in the afternoon session, none appears for the Petitioner.

The petition challenges the order dated 27 April 2019 placing the Petitioner under detention. The petition was filed on 3 February 2020. Rule was issued on 4 February 2020. 1 / 2

The learned APP points out that normally the life of the detention order is for one year. Perhaps this is the reason why the Petitioner is not interested.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. In case the cause of action still survives, liberty is granted to the Petitioner to PRADIPKUMAR PRAKASHRAO DESHMANE revive the Petition.
