Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the respondent no.2.

After arguing the matter for some time, a fair approach was adopted by the parties. On instructions, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are not pressing these petitions so far as the petitioner no.1 is concerned. Consequently, the writ petitions as regards the 1/2

Learned counsel for the respondent no.2 stated that they have no objection if present petitions are allowed to the extent of the petitioners no.2 to 4. Consequently, the writ petitions are allowed in terms of prayer clause (b) so far as the petitioners no.2 to 4 are concerned.

Needless to mention that the present order is restricted to the liability so far as the proceedings under the Negotiable Instruments Act is concerned. It is always open for the respondent no.2 to enforce the liability against the petitioners no.2 to 4 in accordance with law, in which event all contentions of the parties are kept open. 5.

The writ petitions are disposed of.
