Heard Mr. Patil, the learned Counsel for the petitioner. 2.

Mr. Yagnik, the learned APP informs the Court that in the intervening period the investigating agency has carried out the investigation and filed report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ("the Code") leading to RCC No.2028 of 2020, on the file of the jurisdictional Magistrate. Mr. Yagnik further points out that accused no.3 in the said crime is absconding and thus the investigating officer has sought liberty to carry out further investigation under Section 173 (8) of the Code.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, Mr. Patil, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition has served its purpose.
