Having heard the learned Counsel for the respective parties and having gone through the petitions alongwith annexures thereto, we deem it convenient to dispose of these petitions by directing the respondent-CIDCO to decide the regularisation applications filed by the petitioners as early as possible, and preferably within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly. It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of

the matter. All points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open and the Authorised Officer of the CIDCO shall decide the representations of the petitioners for regularisation independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law.

In order to enable the Authorised Officer of CIDCO to decide the said representations, the petitioners shall remain present before the CIDCO Authorised Officer on 2/5/2018 alongwith copy of the said representations for regularisation and copy of this order. Till the decision on the representations for regularisation by CIDCO Authorised Officer, both the parties shall maintain status quo as regards the subject structures as on today. In the event, the order of the CIDCO Authorised Officer is adverse to the interest of the petitioner, the same shall not be implemented for a period of 2 weeks from the date of intimation thereof to the Petitioner.
