The present applicant is an accused in Crime No. 347 of 2017 registered at Nigadi Police Station, for the offence punishable under Sections 420, 406 r/w. 34 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3, 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishments) Act, 1999.

This Court by order dated 9 November 2022 in Criminal Bail Application No.1050 of 2022 allowed the application of the present applicant for bail, on a condition that the applicant shall deposit his passport in the trial Court before his release. Kanchan P Dhuri 1 / 2

The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has not obtained passport. The learned Counsel for the applicant has placed on record a copy of the e-mail forwarded by the passport authority to the Advocate for the applicant. The same is taken on record and marked 'X' for the purpose of identification. It appears from the said e-mail that the present applicant does not hold any passport. Considering this fact, the condition imposed by this Court to deposit the passport is relaxed. The interim application is accordingly disposed of. ( N.R.
