The petitioners raise issue concerning recruitment process undertaken by the respondent - State Bank of India. The learned counsel appearing for the Bank submits that the recruitment process is over. The said statement is not disputed by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. It is further submitted that the petitioners allege faulty mechanism of

2/3 conducting the subject recruitment process, which goes to the root of the matter.

Perused the record and considered the submissions advanced. The petition can be disposed of by passing following order:

O R D E R

(a) The petitioners are at liberty to file a comprehensive representation addressed to the respondent-Bank in respect of the subject issue within four weeks from today.

(b) On receipt of such representation, the respondent nos.2 and 3 would take appropriate decision on the said representation and communicate the same within further four weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. The respondent nos.2 and 3 are at liberty to hear any other person in this connection, if they so desired.

(c) A brief reasoned communication is expected from the respondent nos.2 and 3.

(d) In case the petitioners are still aggrieved by the decision communicated by the respondent nos.2 and 3, the petitioners are at liberty to resort to appropriate remedy in accordance with the law.

Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. 4.

It is clarified that we have not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
