Today, we have heard the matter in Chamber with a view to bring about amicable settlement between the first respondent and the first applicant. After having talked to the parties, we find that as of today, there is no possibility of amicable settlement. The learned counsel appearing for the applicants, at this stage, pointed out that charge sheet has been already filed. In view of this statement, now the applicants have a remedy before the appropriate Court under the statute.

apl-1527.16.odt Essentially, notice was issued on 12 th January, 2017 in order to ascertain whether there is a possibility of amicable settlement considering the relative young age of husband and wife. In view of the availability of remedy before the concerned Court, now this application need not be entertained and the same is disposed of. However, remedies of the applicants are kept open.
