The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 451 of 2022 registered at Shikrapur Police Station, Pune Rural for the offences punishable under Sections 324, 363, 364(A), 386, 387, 504, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State and perused the First Information Report.

The allegations are of abductions and extortion. 5.

During the course of investigation, the co-accused has stated that the present applicant was with him at the time of alleged abduction and extortion. From the said co-accused the present applicant has received Rs. 50,000/- out of extortion money of Rs. 2,00,000/-. Considering the nature of offence, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail.
