The learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a letter dated 24th May 2019 from the Senior Inspector of Police, Pimpri Police Station, Pimpri Chichwad addressed to the Police Inspector, Economic Offences Wing, Pimpri Chinchwad. The said letter makes it clear that the investigation of the subject first information report is transferred to the Economic Offences Wing, Pimpri Chinchwad (EOW) and accordingly the investigation papers have been forwarded to the EOW. In the light of the above communication/letter, the counsel for the petitioner states that the grievance raised in the instant petition stands redressed and, therefore, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. Leave granted.
