The applicant in both these applications has appeared in person. He prays that the proceedings pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 29th Court, Dadar, Mumbai in C.C. No.8162/SS/2010 and C.C. No.2949/SS/2011 be decided expeditiously. It is further submitted that he is a Government Officer and is physically handicapped.

Learned APP submits that some reasonable time may be granted to the lower Court for deciding these matters, provided there is no other legal impediment.

The applicant-in-person submits that pursuant to the issuance of process on his behalf in the aforementioned two cases, the accused had approached the learned District Judge in Criminal Revision Applications No. 358 of 2012 and 405 of 2012, which were dismissed with costs about two to three years ago. He is not aware as to whether any further proceedings are pending before this Court.

Considering the above, both these applications are disposed of by directing the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 29th Court, Dadar, Mumbai, to decide C.C. No.8162/SS/2010 and C.C. No.2949/SS/2011 as expeditiously as possible and preferably on or before 29th December, 2017.
