This is the fourth attempt by the Applicant seek bail from this Court. On earlier three occasions, the Applicant had approached this Court vide Bail Application No.632 of 2018, Bail Application No.3271 of 2018 and Bail Application No.1468 of 2019. At the first instance this Court (Coram : Smt. Sadhana S. Jadhav, J.) had heard the matter at length and vide order dated 21/06/2019 had allowed the Bail Application No.632 of 2018 to be withdrawn. Subsequently on two occasions also the Applicant was not granted bail.

Therefore today the learned counsel for the Applicant only prayed for the directions to expedite the trial without Nesarikar

2 / 2 12-BA-3605-19.odt touching the merits of the matter. He submitted that the Applicant is a young boy. He was 20 years of age at the time of incident and he is in custody for 4 years.

I have considered learned counsel'

s request for expediting the trial. Since he has not argued on merits, I am not touching the merits of the matter, but the fact remains that the Applicant was only 20 years of age at the time of incident and for 4 years he is in custody. The trial has not begun. It is necessary for the trial Court to take up this matter expeditiously and conclude it in a time bound manner.

The Bail Application is rejected as not pressed. 5.

Learned trial Judge is requested to commence this trial at the earliest and to conclude it as far as possible within six months from today.

Application stands disposed of.
