Rule. By consent, rule is made returnable forthwith and the matter is heard finally.

3.

The petitioner preferred an application for furlough. The said application came to be rejected by order dated 7th October, 2016. Being aggrieved thereby, petitioner preferred an appeal on 24th October, 2016. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he preferred an appeal on 24th October, 2016, the appeal has not yet been decided. 4.

Looking to the fact that the appeal is pending since a long time, the only necessary direction to be passed is that the appeal to be decided by the Competent Authority within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5.

Rule is made absolute in the above terms.

6.

All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this order. (REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.) (V. K. TAHILRAMANI, J.) SQ Pathan 2/2
