These are the cases under section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. It dates back to 2019. The plea has been recorded in 2021. The 1/2

P.H. Jayani 33 WITH 34 - STM.doc affidavit of examination-in-chief has already been filed. The Petitioner/ accused is supposed to now cross-examine the Complainant/ Respondent. This application has been preferred so late i.e., in December, 2022. Since the trial has commenced, this Court is not inclined to even issue notice in this matter. The Petitioner may have case on merits. The trial court is expected to take the case to its logical conclusion.
