Applicants were admitted to protection on 29 November, 2018 and since then protection continue to operate in their favour. On 07 September, 2022, as per request of the learned APP, the applicants were directed to report to the Investigating Officer on two dates. Learned APP Mr. Gavand states that the applicants have reported to the police station and the applicants are not the persons who had obtained the loan. The custodial interrogation, according to him, is not necessary.

In the wake of the detailed observations of this Court while admitting them to interim protection, accepting the above statement, the order dated 29 November, 2018 is made absolute. Needless to state that the applicants shall render their assistance in the investigation and report to the Investigating Officer as and when directed.

In the wake of the disposal of the application Interim Application No. 2429 of 2020 is disposed of.
