Urgent hearing of the petition was sought on the ground that the Petitioner has received notice of eviction. In the course of hearing, learned Counsel for the Petitioner had made a statement that the Petitioner has already sold the subject premises and that he was not in occupation of the same. He had stated that he had filed the petition only because he was receiving the notices even though he is not in possession of the premises.

If the Petitioner is not in possession of the premises and if he has already sold the subject premises, the Petitioner should have no grievance about the notices issued in his name. 3.
