The Applicant apprehends his arrest in C.R. No.880 of 2022 registered with Chembur Police Station, Mumbai, for the offences punishable under Sections 379 r/w. 34 of the IPC a nd Sections 43(b), 66, 70(1), 66(f)(a)(3), 66(a) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. 2.

This Court ( Coram: M.S. Karnik, J.) while granting interim bail to the Applicant had observed that the allegations against the Applicant are for committing theft of data pertaining to Aadhar Card details of various persons. It was observed that the FIR only mentions that the Applicant was involved in commission of the crime and no role 1/2

Megha 26_aba_3553_2022.doc of the actual commission of the theft was attributed to him. While granting the interim bail this Court had directed the Applicant to report to the Investigating Officer.

Learned APP states that the Applicant appeared before the Investigating Officer and that he has joined the investigation. Learned APP further states that the presence of the Applicant is not required for the purpose of investigation.

In the light of the said statement interim order dated 22/12/2022 is confirmed. The Applicant shall report to the Investigating Officer as and when required for the purpose of investigation.

The application stands disposed of.
