It is not in dispute that the election programme has been announced and elections are due on 26th December 2017. I am thus not inclined to interfere with the election programme at this stage. The petitioner will have to avail of the remedy under the provisions of the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act after the elections are concluded. All contentions of both the parties are kept open. 2.
