The petition is filed with a limited grievance that the Appeal filed by the Petitioner challenging the order dated 25 August 2023 cancelling Petitioner's licences is not being heard and decided by the Minister, Food and Drugs Administration, State of Maharashtra. Mr. More the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner would submit

that the Assistant Commissioner has directed cancellation of the licenses w.e.f. 1 December 2023. He expresses an apprehension that failure on the part of the Minister to decide the Appeal before 1 December 2023 would result in operation of the order dated 25 August 2023 and cancellation of licenses of the Petitioner. 2.

Considering the limited controversy involved in the present petition, the same can be disposed of by requesting the Minister, Food and Drugs Administration, State of Maharashtra to decide the Appeal preferred by the Petitioner in an expeditious manner. 3.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with a request to the Minister, Food and Drugs Administration, State of Maharashtra to decide the Appeal preferred by the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from today. Till decision of the Appeal and for a further period of two weeks, the order dated 25 August 2023, shall not be enforced. DR. NEELA GOKHALE, J.
