The Petitioner is present in Court. He has given instructions to Mr Warunjikar. He states that he will take up the posting at the 1st Respondent bank's branch at Narayangaon on such date as may be indicated by the bank.

We clarify that it is always open to the Petitioner to apply to ARUN RAMCHNDRA SANKPAL the 1st Respondent-bank for a further voluntary transfer or reby ARUN RAMCHNDRA SANKPAL Date: 2023.01.31 10:00:59 +0530 transfer and which the bank will process in accordance with his policy, guidelines and applicable rules. We trust that this will be done fairly and without any form of discrimination against the Petitioner.

Mr Warunjikar states that the Petitioner has some pending applications for home loans. This has nothing to do with the subject matter of the Writ Petition and should be processed in accordance with the bank policy and rules at the earliest possible. 4.

The Petition is disposed of in these terms. No costs. 5.

Lastly, as and when the Petitioner makes any further application for a posting, we trust that the 1st Respondent-bank will dispose of this application fairly and on merits having regard to the Petitioner's undisputed disabilities within a reasonable period of time not exceeding two to three weeks. We are not directing the Bank to accept the application, but only to process it on merits. We expect that the Petitioner, too, for his part will be reasonable about the time when he makes any such application (i.e., not immediately after taking up the new posting), and that he will provide sufficient justification for the application.
