At the outset, learned A.P.P, on instructions, states that trial has commenced and that five witnesses have been examined till date. She submits that the prosecution intends to examine as many as 20 more witnesses.

However, the trial of the applicants is expedited. The learned Sessions Judge to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within 12 months from today.

Applications are disposed of accordingly.
