Heard Mr. Bhavar, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. Rayrikar, learned AGP for the Respondent Nos.1 to 5-State.

The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the legality and validity of the order dated 8th November 2023 passed by the Additional Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune, by which, stay has been granted to the order of disqualification of Respondent No.6 as a member of the Gram Panchayat, Mahud Budruk, Taluka Sangola, District Solapur.

However, Mr. Rayrikar, learned AGP, after taking instructions from the concerned Additional Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune, states that the Appeal will be decided expeditiously within a period of three months.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the learned Additional Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune to dispose of the said Appeal No.17 of 2023 expeditiously, and in any case, on or before 29th February 2024.
