This petition was filed on 28 November 2018 making a grievance that the term of the Managing Committee of the Respondent- Co-operative Housing Society has come to an end in July 2018 but elections were not being held and the RespondentRegistrar to appoint an authorized officer to hold an election. The Petitioner after filing, has not been circulated. There is no order passed.

None appears for the Petitioner. The board is notified in advance. The learned AGP draws our attention to the report dated 2 November 2018 whereby an explanation is submitted by the

skn 2 40-WP-3501.2020.doc Deputy Registrar that the election process has already commenced and, therefore, authorized officer need not be appointed. It is five years since the petition is filed. Election must have been held because of which the petition is not being prosecuted. 3.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
