The petitioners are challenging order dated 19 August 2019. By virtue of said order, 19 Managing Committee members were disqualified for a period of three years from 19 August 2019. The period of three years expires on 18 August 2022. 2.

According to the petitioners, they are elected for the period commencing from 2022-2023 to 2027-2028. Since the order dated 19 August 2019 came to an end on 18 August 2022, the petitioners are entitled to continue as Managing Committee members of the said society based on elections held in the year 2023. 3.

With this clarification, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
