By order dated 03/10/2022, this Court (Coram : Bharati Dangre, J.) has released the Applicant on bail. He was permitted to be released on cash bail for a period of six weeks. The Applicant was further directed to mark his attendance to the concerned Police Station, firstly on 17.10.2022 and thereafter every month between 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and on first three visits he shall deposit a sum of Rs.1 Lakh with the Investigating Officer, which shall be paid to the complainant and an acknowledgment to that effect shall be obtained. 2.

The said amount of Rs.3,00,000/- was to be deposited by 17th 1/2

P.H. Jayani 33 IA4621.2022.doc December, 2022. Learned counsel for the Applicant states that the Applicant is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. Since he has to mark his attendance in Sewree Police Station on Monday, he is unable to go to his native place and arrange for surety. He seeks extension of time to pay an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- to the Complainant before the Investigating Officer. He further seeks extension of time to furnish surety.

In view of the above, time to furnish surety as well as time to deposit an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- is extended by three weeks. Cash bail to continue for a period of three weeks. The Investigating Officer shall pay an amount of Rs.3,00,000/- deposited by the Applicant to the Complainant.

Both Interim Applications stand disposed of.
