By this petition, the Petitioner has sought to challenge Maharashtra Ordinance No. XXIV of 2018 dated 25th October, 2018, promulgated to further amend provisions of the Maharashtra Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 1963. Learned counsel Mr. G. S. Godbole, appearing for the Petitioner submits that the said ordinance has been withdrawn and has lapsed. Therefore, he apprehended that fresh bill may be once again introduced. We are of the considered view, that the 1 / 2

Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of being premature with liberty to challenge the amendment to the said Act as and when circumstances arise.
