By this interim application, the applicant seeks amendment to the writ petition.

Mr.Bandiwadekar, learned counsel for the respondent states that his client has no objection if the amendment application is allowed. Statement is accepted.

Interim application is allowed in terms of prayer clauses (a) and (b). Amendment to be carried out within one week from today. Amended copy of the petition shall be served upon the respondent's advocate simultaneously. It is made clear that though the amendment to the petition is permitted by this Court, the respondent is not deemed to have been admitted the averments made in the petition.

The respondent would be at liberty to file affidavit-in-reply to the amended copy of the petition within two weeks from the date of service of amended copy of the petition and shall serve a copy thereof upon the applicant's advocate simultaneously. R. I. CHAGLA J.
