Heard learned counsel for the applicants and learned APP for the State.

On 07/01/2023 the following order came to be passed :- "Heard learned counsel for the applicants.
2. This is an application for pre-arrest bail. The applicants are apprehending arrest in connection with C.R.No. I-560 dated 07/11/2022 registered with Bhiwandi Taluka Police Station, Bhiwandi for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 306 and 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 ("IPC", for short).
3. Applicant no.1 is the father-in-law and applicant no. 2 is the mother-in-law of the deceased. The offence is registered against the applicants under 1/3
section 498-A, 306 read with 34 of the IPC. Accused no. 1 i.e. son of the applicants is already arrested. The marriage of accused no.1-Nilesh was solemnized with Aparna (deceased) on 30/05/2014. It is alleged that Aparna committed suicide on 06/11/2022 by consuming poison. The allegations made against the applicants are general in nature. Accused no. 1 is already arrested. A case is made out for grant of interim protection. Learned APP seeks time to take instructions.
4. Stand over to 12/01/2023.

In the meantime, in the event of arrest of the applicants in connection with C.R No. I-560 of 2022 registered with Bhiwandi Taluka Police Station, Bhiwandi, the applicant no.1-Chandrakant Shankar Patil and applicant no.2-Sharda Chadrakant Patil be released on bail on their furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount;
6. The applicants shall report to the Investigating Officer on 10th and 11th January 2023 between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. and co-operate with the Investigating Officer.
7. The applicants shall not tamper with the evidence or give threat or inducement to any of the prosecution witnesses."

The applicants are the in-laws of the deceased. The accused No.1 is the husband of the deceased. The husband is already arrested. So far as the applicants are concerned the charge-sheet is not yet filed as the present anticipatory bail application is pending. However, it is stated that the applicants have co-operated with the investigation. The 2/3
custodial interrogation of the applicants is not required. Hence, the following order :-
O R D E R
(a) Application is allowed.
(b) In the event of arrest in connection with C.R. No.I-560 of 2022 registered with Bhiwandi Taluka Police Station, Bhiwandi, the applicant no.1Chandrakant Shankar Patil and applicant no.2-Sharda Chandrakant Patil shall be released on bail on their furnishing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- each with one or more sureties in the like amount. (c) The applicants shall report to the concerned police station as and when called.
(d) The applicants to co-operate with the Investigating Officer.
(e) The applicants shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police OfÏcer and shall not tamper with eiÞidence.
(f) The applicants shall furnish the details of their residential addresses and phone numbers to the investigating officer.
