Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that he is not pressing these Petitions. His only request is that the trial Court be directed to conclude the proceedings within a time bound manner; within a reasonable period. He Deshmane(PS)

submitted that the proceedings under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act are pending since the year 2014.

The request is quite reasonable. The main proceedings are pending for an inordinately long period. Therefore, some directions are required to be issued to the trial Court to conclude the proceedings within a time bound manner within a reasonable period.

No party can have any objection for expeditious disposal of any proceedings before any Court. Therefore, I am inclined to direct the trial Court to decide the main proceedings within a time bound manner.

Hence, the following order :

:: O R D E R ::

i.

The Petitions are disposed of as not pressed. ii.

All the contentions raised by both the parties are specifically left open to be decided by the trial Court.

Learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Court Room No.6, Pune is directed to conclude the matter before him being Criminal M.A. No.5287/2014 within a period of four months from today.

iv.

Both the parties shall cooperate for the disposal of the case within that period. If either of the parties is not cooperating, learned Magistrate shall take action in accordance with law.

v.

With these directions, both the Petitions are disposed of.
