This is an application seeking transit anticipatory bail for temporary period to enable the applicant to approach the competent court for appropriate relief. The applicant is a resident of Thane. The complaint appears to be have registered by CBI SPE, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha for the offence under Section, 120-B, 420, 468, 471 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 13(2) read with 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. 2.

The complaint was registered in 2014. During the course of the investigation, search was carried out at the residential premises of the applicant. It is submitted that applicant was called for interrogation and he had co-operated with the investigation.

Presently, the applicant is being called for the purpose of investigation and there is apprehension that he would be arrested. In the circumstances, it is prayed that the applicant be granted protection under Section 438 of Code of Criminal Procedure for a temporary period for enable him to approach the appropriate Court for appropriate relief. 3.

Considering the submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the applicant, protection for a temporary period can be granted.

ORDER

i) In the event of arrest of applicant in connection with R.C. No. 0152014A0020 registered with CBI, SPE, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, the applicant be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.20,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. ii) This protection is granted for a period of four weeks to enable the applicant to move the appropriate Court for appropriate relief.

iii) Application stands disposed off.
