This is an Application for allowing the Applicant to argue his Bail Application as well as Appeal in person. 2.

Record indicates that by an Order dated 10.08.2022, this Court had directed to issue bailable warrant against the Applicant as he did not surrender to Jail Authority within the stipulated period, after he was released on temporary bail/parole due to Covid-19 pandemic. Accordingly the Police Authorities arrested him and have released him on bail.

On 08.09.2019, Applicant appeared before this Court in person. He submitted that he was transferred to Paithan open prison due to his good conduct while undergoing sentence. 1/2

1d.IA.1649.19.doc On interacting with Applicant, it is noticed that Applicant intends to argue his matter in person as he had also conducted trial himself before the trial Court.

In view thereof, we allow the present Application by directing the Jail Authorities to produce the Applicant at the time of hearing of the present Bail Application on the date so fixed. The said Order will be passed in the main Appeal after taking into consideration the necessary arrangements which the State may make for transferring the Applicant to a prison in Mumbai for the purpose of hearing of the present Appeal.
