Heard. By this Civil Application, the Applicant seeks stay to the operation and implementation of the judgment and award dated 31.08.2016 passed by the Member, MACT, Baramati in MACP No.230/2014 holding that Respondent-claimant is entitled to sum of Rs.9,80,000/- by way of compensation with interest @ 9% p.a. from the date of institution of the Application i.e. 16.12.2014 till realization of the amount.

The learned counsel for the Applicant submits that they have already deposited the Basavraj G Patil 1/2

60.131.18-caf.doc entire decretal amount in the Trial Court. The statement is accepted.

The learned counsel for the Respondent - claimant submits that they made Civil Application No.1009/2019 for withdrawal of the amount, which will be decided on merits after hearing theh parties.

Hence, the following order is passed:

a.

The operation and implementation of the judgment and award dated 31.08.2016 passed by the Member, MACT, Baramati in MACP No.230/2014 is stayed till further orders.

b.

The Tribunal is directed to invest the entire award amount in a fixed deposit account of any Nationalized Bank, initially for a period of one year and same shall be renewed from time to time till further orders.

c.

The Civil Application No.1009/2019 will be decided on merits.

d.

Civil Application stands disposed of accordingly.

e.

No order as to costs.
