This is an application for extension of period of cash bail and to furnish sureties. By an Order dated 27.11.2017 passed by this Court in B. A. No.1754 of 2017 the applicant was directed to be released on bail by his furnishing PR bond of Rs.15,000/- and on furnishing sureties in the like amount. That, the applicant was directed to be released on cash bail initially for a period of three weeks.

The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that as a matter of fact process of verification of sureties is completed however, the procedure for accepting sureties is only pending and the same will be completed within a period of three weeks from today.

In view of the above and for the reasons stated in the application the period to furnish the sureties is hereby extended by four weeks from today and as a consequence thereof the

2 /2 49-appp-1193-17 applicant is permitted to remain on cash bail for a period of four weeks from today.

Application is accordingly disposed off.
